Fotos abajo! saludos! (;

Wowww Florence ... that place is so charming! I had a pleasant weather, following the odyssey of the hotel to the train station in Venice, I found myself sitting in a Frecciargento, an Italian high speed train, very comfortable! and quite fast. I went to Venice at 11 30 and within a couple of hours I was arriving to Florence. The hotel is conveniently situated a couple of blocks from the Duomo (which has a huge size) and it was a great advantage to be able to visit and walk a lot. But the hotel's internet never worked! That was the big X to the hotel, I needed to update my deviantart and my blog and I could not! but now in Rome is now possible.
I had the good fortune that it was the week of culture in Europe, so my entrance to the Uffizi museum (or something like that) was free, and also the entrance to the museum of the Academy. A very impressive work indeed, and we've all seen or heard of David, it definitely is differnet to see the sculpture ... is very large, and details are so very accurate, if my eyes were mono chromatic I could swear he is alive. It is well worth going to see it.
The duomo is VERY big, too big. The design is full of figures and sculptures, but is very empty inside, I was surprised indeed!
Something I did the 3 days I spent in Florence was to go to the Plaza de MichelAngelo. It Is on a hill near the river Arno. The view of the city and the region of Tuscany is indescribable! no doubt, I took a LOT of pictures from there! Below is a sample. The town is easily traversed on foot, except for the effort of the * heavy * stairs to climb to the square, the three days I could see the sunset from up there. Fascinating!
On the 3rd day, I went on a tour to see Pisa. So in the bus to the Tuscan roads, we left early. The Tower, it certainly is an interesting structure! as is its history! Everyone wanted to see the tower, but the cathedral is something that its worth visiting. It has a lot of quality and details, it left me with my mouth opened all the way to the ground!
Went then to Lucca, a small town between walls that were built for protection. with many churches and few tourists, it is worth watching, you can walk over the walls and there are some interesting gardens and views across the city. Wow that was worth the tour!
Today I left early from Florence to Rome on a train a bit slow but cheap. Not even near to the frecciargento but hey! had to save a few money! I walked and walked to see a little, and I reached beyond the basilica of San Pedro. Tomorrow I will go to the coliseum, and I hope to go to Pompeii on Friday! I see that it is in Rome.
